These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the 816 Clean Co. website at 816clean.com, our online booking system, and the cleaning services we provide. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services we provide

816 Clean Co. provides residential and light commercial cleaning services in the Kansas City metro area. Services include deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, recurring cleaning, and post-construction cleanup. All services are performed by vetted independent contractors under our standards and quality guidelines.

Quotes and pricing

Prices quoted are estimates based on the information you provide (home size, service type, add-ons, and condition). Final pricing may vary after an in-person or virtual assessment. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. We will not begin work until you approve the final quote.

Booking and scheduling

You may book online or by phone. Online bookings are requests, not guaranteed confirmations. We will contact you to confirm your appointment, gather details, and provide a final quote. We reserve the right to decline bookings outside our service area or that we cannot reasonably fulfill.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full quoted service amount.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in writing. We accept major credit cards and other methods as communicated during booking. Returned payments or chargebacks are subject to a $35 processing fee. Accounts with outstanding balances may not be scheduled for future service until the balance is resolved.

Property access and preparation

You are responsible for providing safe and clear access to your property at the scheduled time. Please secure pets, remove or store irreplaceable valuables, and disclose any fragile items or pre-existing damage before service begins. If our team cannot access the property, the appointment will be treated as a same-day cancellation.

Satisfaction guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with any area of your service, contact us within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean the area at no additional charge. Re-clean requests made after 24 hours cannot be honored.

Damages and liability

816 Clean Co. is not responsible for damage that existed prior to our arrival. We may photograph areas of concern to document pre-existing conditions. In the rare event that damage occurs during service and is directly caused by our team, notify us in writing within 24 hours. We will review claims in good faith and work toward a reasonable resolution. Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.

Independent contractors

Cleaning services are performed by independent contractors vetted and supervised by 816 Clean Co. Contractors are responsible for their own methods and equipment while adhering to our quality standards. 816 Clean Co. acts as the booking and coordination platform, not the direct employer of individual cleaners.

Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any property that poses a safety risk to our team. This includes, but is not limited to, extreme clutter, pest infestation, biohazard conditions, or hostile or threatening behavior.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri.
